From Dombås (Oslo/Trondheim):
Follow the E136 west from Dombås, through the dramatic scenery of the Romsdal valley towards the fjord at Åndalsnes.

From Ålesund:
Take the E136 east via Sjøholt and across the Ørskogfjellet mountain pass.

From Molde:
Head east along the RV64 towards Sølsnes, enjoy the fjord crossing on the car ferry service to Åfarnes.

From Geiranger:
Head north on the RV63, cross the fjord on the Eidsdal to Linge car ferry service, and end up at Åndalsnes after the spectacular
Trollstigen road.

Train:
Daily departures to/from Trondheim and Oslo.

Bus:
Daily departures to/from Oslo.

Several departures daily to/from Molde and Ålesund. Trollstigen/Geiranger: via Ålesund/Sjøholt, as well as two daily departures from Åndalsnes 15 June - 31 August with connections to Otta and E6.

Many NorWay Bus Express routes from all parts of the country come into our district.

Nearest airport is Årø/Molde. Other airports are Ålesund and Kristiansund.
