There are two ski resorts in the area: Skorgedalen and Bjorli  with a number of prepared slopes, cross country tracks both in the valley and also up in the high mountains .You can stay in hotels, guesthouses, cabins, private homes – or what about staying in a sailboat and go skiing straight from the fjord?

The season is from medio February till the end of May. The daylight comes around nine in the morning, and dawn starts around five o`clock in February. Start to ski early in the morning.

In May the Trollstigen mountain road opens for the summer, and then you can go for spectacular skiing even longer…Åndalsnes is a good startingpoint for great ski touring. The town is small and cozy with several accommodation options, restaurants, cafees and shops.
